2009: ISTI the fifth

Last year's team was very successful in competition as we finished in the finals of Oregon Regional. The robot was able to pick up moon rocks from the playing surface by a conveyor system and dump the rocks into the opposing alliance trailers. ISTI V was able to use its camera during the autonomous time period to locate the opponents' trailer to deliver the moon rocks. ISTI V is also capable of picking up an empty cell and delivering to the station for the super cell. The empthy cell can be deliverd by dumping the cell or reversing the conveyor system and shooting it in below.     During competition, the team finished seventh in the Oregon Regional with 5-1-1 record. Because of field complications, Braugh Wurst team had to win five matches in the quarter finals to advance to the semi- finals where they won, 2-1. The team lost the first two matches in the finals.
